Offdaze Vol. VII
Over the years I’ve accumulated a handful of songs that I just can’t use on mixtapes. Sometimes it’s a terribly recorded version of a song that’s so good I just don’t care, but I’m not sure if they’ll feel the same. Sometimes it’s a 20th century pop canon that’s so mainline it feels too obvious. Whether they’re too weird, too sad, too hokey, too suggestive, or just too uncool to not dent your pride, they never make the final cut. So after years of holding back, fuck it.
I’ve Flirted With You All My Life - Vic Chesnutt

Little Animal - The Raveonettes

Looks Like I’m Up Shit Creek Again - Tom Waits
